My area of expertise is my ability to translate complex scientific/medical/psychological information into language lay people can easily understand.

We will be curating the latest scientific research across multiple disciplines, such as biology, neuroscience, positive psychology, medicine, and even quantum physics, and bringing it to you in plain English. We will look at how such practices as meditation, sleep and circadian rhythm optimization, heart rate variability biofeedback, breathwork, restorative yoga, and specific forms of exercise can profoundly impact your longevity and wellbeing. 


And we’ll be diving into plenty of exciting, cutting-edge areas, such as consciousness, non-duality, brain technologies, nootropics, adaptogens, the brain-gut-immune axis, and much more!

We will begin our first eight weeks of the Longevity Experience with a refresher and update to the longevity experiment we introduced to our community last year, specifically taking you through a customizable nutrition, movement, sleep, and intermittent fasting protocol so you can get a real jumpstart on your health.
Why should you listen to me?

If you don't know me, I’m Ellen Britt, and I was an integral part of the medical establishment for over two decades as a PA (physician assistant) working in emergency medicine, occupational health, and urgent care medicine. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Biology, then did my PA training at the Medical College of Georgia. After I had worked as a PA for a few years, I was accepted into an exclusive, select class of PAs who completed a rigorous year-long post-graduate PA program in Emergency Medicine at Maine Medical Center, organized by the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. 

I went on to work in various emergency and urgent care settings, including a large upstate New York teaching hospital, where not only did I gain extensive patient experience, I also was involved in the training and education of medical interns and residents. Even my hard-boiled emergency room supervisory physicians called me a talented diagnostician. I once estimated, conservatively, that throughout my more than twenty-year career, I saw enough patients to fill the Houston Astrodome, not once but twice! 

Not only do I have considerable patient experience, along the way, I also earned a doctorate (an Ed.D.) in Biology and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. Suffice it to say that unlike so many pop-up “health gurus” on the internet, I have both extensive clinical hands-on patient experience as well as a deep academic grounding in science. Plus, I have insider insight into just how our modern healthcare system works and where it falls short. 

Denise Wakeman joined me several years ago on a journey to discover just what daily intermittent fasting could do for our health. We both reaped spectacular benefits, both in terms of weight loss and increased energy, and soon took our experience out to the larger community as a group membership that we have co-facilitated for the past four years.
